The process of changing and updating laws to reflect modern society's values and needs is known as law reform. This essay will examine whether or not law reform has resulted in achieving justice for same-sex marriage in Australia. According to the New South Wales Law Reform Commission, as society changes, the law must adapt to reflect economic and technological trends, different social values, and modern conceptions of justice. Law reform is critical to maintaining the system's balance. Due to the constantly changing nature of cultural values, recent developments have only been partially successful in ensuring justice for all parties. This is why reform for same-sex marriage has been effective when it comes to achieving justice.
