Thus it is imperative that there are legal systems and mechanisms to correct the injustices created by the soft-nature of international crime. The international response of the ‘International Criminal Court’, as well as bilateral treaty with the United States exhibits how domestic and international responses operate and intertwine to address international crime and appropriately deal with them. Ultimately, the legal system proves somewhat effective in addressing international crime, but definitely proves more effective in some areas than others.
