As the dawn sun rises, we finally came to the top of the hill that made us feel as if we were climbing Mount Everest. Our legs were like jelly and we felt sick from exhaustion. Just as we were about to give up I looked out into the horizon and was overwhelmed with happiness. The end to this gruelling journey was finally within our reach. I looked over to Charles and whispered, ‘I think we’ve made it’.
