(What does the site, and artefacts: written and/or archaeological, found at the site, tell us about any of these aspects of Campanian life?) - Economy: Industries, commerce, trade, occupations - Social Class: men, women, freedmen slaves - Local political life: decuriones, magistrates, comitium - Everyday Life: housing, leisure activities, food and dining. Clothing, health, baths, water supply and sanitation - Religion: household god, temples, foreign cults and religions - Influence of Greek and Egyptian cultures: art and architecture 2. What have new research and technological advancements done to change historians’ interpretations of the evidence/site over time? 3. What is being done to conserve or reconstruct this site, and who is contributing to this?
