Emotions and moods are an integral and inseparable part of everyday organisational life (Mann, 1997). A positive and healthy organisation significantly benefits both the employee’s well-being and positive outcomes (Ashkanasy & Humphrey, 2011). Many authors (Ashkanasy & Humphrey, 2011; Mayer & Salovey, 1993; Sechelariu, 2012) emphasise the importance for organisations to develop a culture that is positive and healthy. In comparison to any other single activity, employees spend a lot of time in their lives engaged in work (Muchinsky, 2000) and this time spent at work is made up of employees who have many emotions (Sechelariu, 2012).
